Slang AI 2025 Year in Review

2025 was a busy year for Slang AI. See all of the biggest features we shipped in 2025.

Drive Operational Efficiency

Give your staff superpowers by arming them with around-the-clock support coverage (even when they’re asleep), real-time alerts, and role-relevant access to the Slang AI platform.

We delivered a host of new features designed to drive greater operational efficiency for your Front-of-House staff members.

We released a brand new product suite this year called Smart Inbox. Smart Inbox was designed to give staff one easy-to-use, centralized view of all of your guests’ inquiries and calls to follow up on, prioritized by our algorithm, making scattered guest data and sifting through voicemails a thing of the past.

With Scheduled Support Hours, you can ensure 24/7, around-the-clock support coverage, even when staff isn’t available. Easily customize your support hours to tell Slang AI when to handle calls and when to forward to staff.

With Conversation Topic Alerts, you can ensure that you’re always in-the-know, even when you’re on-the-go. Get real-time alerts sent straight to your phone, via SMS or email, for a slew of topics like private event inquiries, lost items, complaints, and more, so you can better and more efficiently serve guests, without having to sift through voicemails or emails.

We also released the ability to set up User Permissions for your Slang AI users so you can ensure that individuals have access to the information and functionalities they need to do their jobs efficiently.

Power Frictionless Booking Experiences Through Integrations

Power frictionless booking and lead capture experiences by integrating with best-in-class providers SevenRooms, Yelp, and Tripleseat.

This year we focused on investing in partnerships with leading reservation platforms SevenRooms and Yelp, in addition to partnering with event management platform, Tripleseat. Integrate with SevenRooms and Yelp to enable guests to book reservations directly over the phone. Leverage our Tripleseat integration to power automatic private event lead capture. Plus, the Tripleseat integration empowers events managers to control exactly when Slang AI handles private event inquiries and when Slang AI forwards leads to them.

Make Data-Informed Decisions With Rich Insights

Information is power. Arm restaurants with actionable data and visibility across locations and integrations.

This year we focused a lot on giving restaurants greater visibility into their reservation metrics. We released a new Insights tab called Reservation Insights that helps owners and operators understand exactly how much their reservation integrations with OpenTable, SevenRooms, and Yelp are moving the needle. View bookings, cross-sold reservations, change and cancellation requests, and more. An added bonus? We added attribution within OpenTable reporting too.

We also rolled out Performance Insights to give busy multi-location owners and operators visibility across all of their locations at-a-glance. This helps owners and operators drive consistent experiences across locations by giving them an easy-to-use stack-ranked view of location performance. View call volume, coinciding calls, covers booked, and more.

Uplevel Guest Communication & Personalization

Deliver more natural, on-brand, and inclusive guest experiences with custom Slang AI greetings and support for Spanish-speaking guests.

We released the highly-requested ability to customize your Slang AI greeting so you can emulate your brand when you greet callers. We also rolled out support for Spanish-speaking guests with Bilingual Support, enabling Spanish-speaking guests to seamlessly engage with our Concierge entirely in their native language.
