Experiential Dining is Just a Phone Call Away: Slang AI Now Supports OpenTable Experiences

Dining at a restaurant is an experience in and of itself, one that guests seek again and again, for providing unique, memorable experiences that last long after the meal is over. That’s why it comes as no surprise that diners are increasingly seeking out experiential dining, with a 27% increase in Experience dining year-over-year.

Guests Seek Novel Dining Experiences
Special tasting menus, wine pairings and table-side entertainment continue to be highly sought after, presenting restaurants with the unique opportunity to provide diners with fun, new dining experiences while simultaneously creating additional revenue streams. That’s what makes OpenTable Experiences a no-brainer offering for restaurants. OpenTable Experiences are bookable dining events that go beyond the standard reservation experience. They give diners the opportunity to secure a reservation that allows them to experience their favorite restaurants in an entirely new way – whether that be through a chef’s table, farm visit, or a themed event – the potential experiences are boundless.

We wanted to give owners and operators and guests alike the opportunity to secure these special dining experiences, which is why we’re thrilled to share that the Slang AI x OpenTable integration now supports OpenTable Experiences.

How Slang AI x OpenTable Experiences Work

Our added support to the Slang AI x OpenTable integration allows guests to hear about OpenTable Experiences directly over the phone, powering frictionless booking experiences for guests.

Provide seamless guest experiences: Guests can call in, just as they normally would, and the Slang AI x OpenTable integration will automatically tell guests about available OpenTable experiences.
Drive revenue through additional bookings: If a guest is interested in an OpenTable Experience, Slang AI will send a direct SMS booking link where guests can view full experience and menu details, as well as dining add-ons, so they can tailor their dining experience how they see fit.
Unlock key insights to drive increased ROI: Get OpenTable reservation insights directly in the Slang AI Insights Dashboard. Intimately understand guest preferences and booking behavior to drive smarter decision-making. What’s more, see exactly how many reservations a guest has made through our Guest Profiles tab, and view associated staff notes, such as a diner’s favorite dish or upcoming anniversary, so you can always find ways to surprise and delight your guests.
