The Slang AI + Fishbowl Integration Raises the Bar for Personalized Guest Experiences

Restaurants don’t just compete on food, they compete on experience. And today, the experience starts the moment the phone rings.

In 2026, guests expect personalized care. 71% of consumers expect companies to deliver personalized interactions, and 76% get frustrated when they don’t, meaning restaurants risk losing revenue and guests when they get the guest experience wrong.

That’s why Slang AI is partnering with leading Guest Relationship Management platform, Fishbowl, to deliver a powerful new integration designed to create more personalized, seamless guest interactions from the very first touchpoint.
‍

Meet the Partner: Fishbowl

Fishbowl is a trusted Guest Relationship Management platform (GRM) used by restaurants nationwide to deepen relationships, drive loyalty, and grow revenue through data-driven engagement.

Fishbowl was purpose-built for restaurants to help them understand, engage, and grow their guest base. It combines the power of a customer data platform (CDP) and a customer relationship management (CRM) system so restaurants can unify data from POS, reservations, mobile apps, loyalty programs, and more, into 360-degree guest profiles. These profiles give operators a complete view of each guest’s behavior, preferences, engagement history, and demographics, all in one place.

Now, with Slang AI integrated directly into Fishbowl, that valuable guest data gets put to work right at the moment a guest calls.

‍

Book Reservations Faster

When a guest calls your restaurant, time matters.

With the Slang AI + Fishbowl integration, repeat guests are instantly recognized. That means:

Faster confirmation of guest details
Less time spent searching for information
A smoother, more professional booking experience

Instead of starting from scratch, your team starts with guest context. The result? Faster bookings. Happier guests. More efficient operations.

‍

Enrich Guest Data Automatically

Every call is an opportunity to improve your guest records. With this integration, additional guest data like email addresses and other contact details can be surfaced and used to keep profiles complete and actionable.

That means:

Cleaner, more holistic guest profile data
Higher-fidelity follow-ups with guests
Organized, accurate guest data across systems

Your phone system doesn’t just handle calls. It strengthens your guest database with every interaction.

‍

Deliver Truly Personalized Service

Great hospitality is personal. The Slang AI x Fishbowl integration provides automatic visibility into customer tags like:

VIP status
Dietary preferences
Special notes

Guests expect you to know them, and with this integration, you’re armed with Fishbowl data that comes in the form of tags that are appended directly to the guest profile in Slang.

What’s more, we’re building a strong foundation for future enhancements to guest profile data so restaurants have a clear pathway to bring caller information into Fishbowl for more data-informed marketing.

Up Next: We’re Building Integration Enhancements to Drive Marketing Pipeline

We’re constantly making improvements to our features based on customer feedback. That said, we’re working on additional Fishbowl integration features that will allow guests to opt-in to receive future promotions over the phone. Opted-in guests will be able to submit their email and birthday to bolster your team's marketing reach through more robust guest profiles.
