Slang AI + Yelp Integration Helps Restaurants Capture More Revenue Opportunities

For most restaurants, the phone is still the first touchpoint with guests. But answering every call, especially during peak service or after-hours, is nearly impossible. Missed calls mean missed covers.

That’s why we’re excited to share that Slang AI has partnered with Yelp. This new integration makes it seamless for guests to book Yelp reservations directly over the phone, 24/7, while freeing up staff to focus on in-person hospitality.

Reservations, Captured Instantly

With the Slang AI + Yelp integration, restaurants have more chances to book reservations, regardless of staff availability.

Here’s how it works:

A guest calls your restaurant
Slang AI answers the call, books the reservations in real-time
Slang AI passes over booking details to Yelp Reservations

Between after-hours and overlapping calls, data shows that restaurants could be missing out on up to $212,000 annually per location. With automated phone handling, restaurants can go from missed calls to more incremental revenue.

Smarter Insights, Better Decisions

Hospitality leaders need data to drive growth. With Slang AI + Yelp, you’ll see exactly how many reservations Slang AI captures by phone, along with guest preferences, covers booked, and after-hours trends.

That means:

More visibility: See how many reservations are driven directly by calls
Clear ROI: Restaurants using Slang AI see up to 10x return on investment
Actionable insights: Spot demand patterns and staffing opportunities

Time Back for Your Team

Your front-of-house staff shouldn’t have to choose between answering phones and in-house guests waiting at the host stand.

By automating phone reservations, restaurants can turn every single call into a reservation opportunity. That time gets reinvested into what matters most: warm greetings, seamless service, and an elevated guest experience.

Successful Restaurants Utilize Voice AI

Restaurants using Slang AI already see:

200+ reservations booked monthly per location
21% of reservations come in after-hours
96% guest satisfaction on calls

When calls are answered every time, your phone becomes one of your most reliable revenue channels while keeping staff focused on in-house guests.
