View a New and Improved Slang User Interface

The Slang Platform just got a whole new look! We’ve given our user interface a slicker, more intuitive look and feel so it’s easier than ever for you to get access to the information you need and to make updates on-the-fly. Plus, we’re paving the way for even more feature enhancements!

Understand Who's Calling Your Restaurant Through a New Guest Profiles Tab

We’ve built out a new area of the Slang Platform called Guest Profiles. Guest Profiles will automatically log all of the calls made to your restaurant location. View guests by phone number, look up guests by phone number, and see exactly how many times a given guest called your restaurant. We’ll also be adding additional functionality in the future so you can import guest data to create more personalized guest experiences.

Provide Additional Details for Events-Related Questions

Calls about cover charges or event tickets will consistently point to the Regular Events topic. If restaurants have more specific details they want to share for events-related questions, they can now add a custom description.

Enable Accurate Concierge Routing for Miscellaneous Questions

We’ve made improvements to the way the Concierge handles miscellaneous questions. If guests have questions regarding patio amenities, coat check, or WiFi, they’ll now automatically be routed to the Miscellaneous Question topic, which can be configured to provide your guests with an email, link, or phone number with a corresponding response such as: “For help with outdoor seating amenities, please email us at info@slangcafe.com.” For restaurants who would like these questions to be forwarded to staff, we can configure these calls to route to the phone.

Provide Contextual Hours Responses for Multiple Service Shifts

Navigating hours for restaurants that have multiple service shifts can be complex (ex: open for lunch, closed in the afternoon, and open again in the evening for dinner service). Now when callers ask about hours at a restaurant with multiple shifts, the Concierge gives detailed, time-aware responses that include all relevant shift information.
