With Slang’s new Conversation Summaries feature, you’ll see a concise overview of your guests’ conversations with the concierge, without having to review lengthy transcripts or listen to long call recordings. What’s more, you can search for guests who might have an outstanding issue that needs a human touch.

Automatically collect guests’ special requests and notes, such as a request for a birthday dessert or gluten-free options, when they call in to make a reservation. Guests hear a custom confirmation that the concierge understood the request, and these notes are saved in the OpenTable interface to help the host deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Guest: Yes, someone in our party has an egg allergy.
Concierge: Let me note that down.... Thank you for letting us know about this egg allergy. I'll pass this information along to the restaurant.

The Slang Concierge has a new topic, Outdoor Seating, where you can add information to reflect your location’s outdoor dining availability. You can add a custom description and provide details about reservation policies and amenities so that the Slang Concierge always gives precise, helpful information.
Guest: Do you have any patio seating open?
Concierge: Yes, we do. Our outdoor seating is first-come, first-served, so you can request an outdoor table with the host. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Guest: Is your outdoor seating area shaded?
Concierge: Yes, our outdoor seating area does have shade.
You can update this yourself in your Concierge settings. Or, if you’d like us to populate this for you, you can fill out this form, and our team will update your settings and let you know when it’s ready for callers.
The Slang Concierge now gracefully directs callers who are looking for a job at your restaurant. To set this up, navigate to the “Contacts” section in the Slang Concierge and click on “Career Opportunities.”
